My Mission.

 

I know how difficult it can be to get started in an unfamiliar place, especially in a gym. “What’s the best exercises to do? How does this machine work? I feel uncomfortable and lost. “ Are all thoughts I had starting out. My goal as a trainer is to help each and every client get comfortable and smash their goals through education and motivation.

About me.

I am a 26 year old college graduate of San Francisco State University. I first got into physical activity at an early age with sports and fell in love with exercising. Currently, I hold two certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and am CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association . I have an Associates Degree in Kinesiology and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise & movement sciences with a minor in athletic coaching.

I started going to the gym when I was 16 and honestly was not thrilled about going! I had no clue what I was doing and wasn’t happy with how I was progressing. Overtime, through education and doing my own research, I began to fall in love with fitness and saw results, it quickly became a part of my life and I hope to be in the gym for a very long time.

I am very passionate about helping others and truly find fulfillment in assisting individuals with their fitness endeavors. I value safety and evidence-based research when it comes to exercise and health. I want to impact, inspire and help change lives. I currently train out of Alex Fitness located in the Castro.
